Today I found a great promo video .
I emailed the creator and found that she is attempting to mainstream Urban Sustainable Agriculture. She is actually meeting with This Old House producers on Friday. Go Patti!
It would be very exciting to see this topic mainstreamed onto PBS. Perhaps others will realize that we can live simply and sustainably.
Give the video and the website some hit so that This Old House producers may be a little more interested.

Garden Girl is the greatest! What a terrific idea for revitalizing urban neighborhoods! Instead of streets pockmarked with boarded-up abandoned houses, we could have a varied landscape of houses and mini-farms. Cities have long provided incentives to business and industry — why not provide incentives to urban farmers?

Garden girl has super ideas! Her videos are very informational – raised beds, chickens, goats, rabbits all in her urban yard! She also has a fish pond. All of these things feed her family. She has a lot of videos on youtube. Just search for garden girl!
