You want fashion? Forget that – I’ll give you style!

It’s 2007 folks; time for something new. Groovy Green is one of the best eco-blogs around, but something has been lacking: fashion. You’ve asked them for it and here I am! My name is Victoria E and I will be your green fashion guru; ask and you shall receive. Is there a certain eco-fashion brand you want to know more about? How about all those funky sustainable fibers that folks are making clothes out of these days? I heard Nike is going green, is that true?

The time is now to ask anything and everything you want to know about planet-friendly fashion: what it is, where to buy it, and what is next. Don’t start thinking this is just for the ladies either – I’m counting on the fellas out there to send in their queries as well (I know you’re style-curious; don’t be shy). Interviews with your favorite green designers are in the works as well, bringing you the face behind the fashions.

No question is too big or too small – ask them all! I’m waiting … :D

    Victoria,

I have heard of a new eco fashion company called Nau with founders stemming from Big Names like Marmot and Patagonia. Can you give us an update on them?

Congrats on the new gig! I was just checking out your main website…I’m impressed with how many different eco-sites you’re writing for these days.

I saw a post on Hugg about you writing here now and recognized your name from the SF Craft Mafia. I’m one of the founding members of the New Orleans Craft Mafia, and I remember seeing your name around on various crafty message boards, etc, when the SF Craft Mafia got started.

Best of luck with your new endeavors!

Thanks for the props Mallory :) The SF Craft Mafia is growing so well; I couldn’t be more proud of it and how the members have taken it on as their own.

    Hey there,

I’m trying to find some affordable conscious clothing in the states, and it hasn’t been easy – any advice? What I’ve been doing for years is just combing through the second-hand stores for brands I know are eco & socially conscious, but it’s rare I find much…
