Now iPhone and smartphone compatible

Fuelly is a new website that makes it easy to track your car’s mileage. You can compare your mileage to other users that have the same make and model. The best part? You can do it on the go, from your iPhone or other smart phone. A quick interface allows you to track the miles driven and gallons used. At the main site you can then compare your results to the national EPA estimates and to other drivers.

Personally I use the pen and paper method, but when I fall behind I am left with a pile of gas receipts that have to be entered on a spreadsheet.  I might have to give Fuelly a shot, as it compiles and tracks your trends graphically, saving me that last step.

Have any of our readers used this site?  Any other good mileage tracking sites and widgets worth mentioning?  How do you keep track of your mileage?

I use a regular website formatted for the iPhone:

    http://mileage.speedymarks.com

It keeps my mileage and cost information also, and allows me to maintain a history. It has been available since before you could buy apps for the iPhone. So, it may not have all the fancy features, but it works, and works well.
