The Green Picture: A smart Vending Machine

smart

Wouldn’t it be cool is access to a small car with great mileage was only was a vending machine away? The marketing muscle behind the smart car apparently thought the same thing and came up with this creative vending machine with an actual car inside. Located in Japan, you can’t really purchase the vehicle, but you can receive brochures and other info. Cheeky.

Could you imagine trying to feed all the bills into that machine? I sure hope all your bills a new and crisp.

I’d love to get a Smart. I don’t know how well they handle real steep hills, and snow.

Smart Cars look great… I was thinking of getting one too but when I test drove it my skirt kept getting stuck on the ejection seat handle in front of the seat… and since I’m blessed with a triple D chest I could basically steer with my boobs… the steering wheel was so close to me! Other than that it was fine… good acceleration and it was comfy if you’re just riding around town… not a car to take on a long journey, that’s when you take your Prius out of the garage.

How about if it’s a vending machine for a “Carshare” vehicle? In the new Ithaca Carshare program, with a $50 per year membership, you can use a car for $8 an hour plus .20 per mile.
