As a kid, I cherished anything that glowed in the dark. I had the glow-in-the-dark stars for my ceiling, a glow-in-the-dark trick or treat bag, and decals for bikes, helmets, sneakers, etc. As an adult, I’ve moved on to the more sophisticated glow sticks and fiber-optic pom-poms; but cupping my hands over a off-white piece of plastic in the off-chance it lights up is still a good time. Which is why this new chair appeals to me.

The AfterGlow series of chairs is a product line made entirely from 100% post-consumer recycled high density polyethylene; primarily from used milk jugs. To emphasize its eco-friendly attributes, the chairs all glow bright green after the sun sets. Amaze your friends! Frighten your neighbors! Make jokes about importing these from Chernobyl, etc. etc.

No word on availability, but since they’ve got a designer name attached to them, we’re thinking $$. Check out Notcot for more pics or hit up Douglas Homer designs for more information!
