I’m currently working on a Valentine’s Day article and was searching for a site to purchase those cards that you can actually plant. I received one this past Christmas and thought it was the coolest thing ever! It was the first time I had ever heard of it.
So, since I know many think Valentine’s Day is just a corporate holiday for the greeting card and chocolate companies, I’ve been trying to come up with ways to make it a little more eco-friendly, hence the card you can plant idea! I still haven’t found a site to purchase such cards but I did find this site that shows how you can actually make your own paper to planet and make your own cards from that!
At the risk of showing my geeky stripes, I’m so excited about this and thought I would share the link: How to Make Homemade Paper You Can Plant
Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!

Full instructions can be found here including the paper making instructions. [...]
