A website was shared with me recently. It’s a simple website. The front page just asks you for the mileage of your round trip commute. Then the website figures out what your “True Cost of Driving” is.
The site doesn’t just count the cost in gasoline prices or oil changes, but in emissions sent out during your drive. It focuses one 4 main types of emission gases; Carbon Monoxide, Nitrogen Oxides, Hydro carbons and Carbon Dioxide. This is good stuff.
My one complain with the site is that I would like a quick guide to put my emission stats into perspective. If I produce 9 pounds of Carbon Dioxide what does this mean?
Either way it’s an interesting site. Check out the site here.
