The Juice Bags Tote uses American technology and craftsmanship, integrating a flexible “thin-film” solar panel into a bag made from heavy duty, natural canvas. The solar panel is a high-tech device made up of 52 micro-solar cells that produce energy using sunshine. The bag uses the company’s SolarSistem™, which allows the solar panel to be easily removed for use separately from the bag, or for cleaning of the bag.”
I’m still waiting for someone to come up with a solar-powered umbrella. For the time being, my energy demands at the beach (has this ever been an issue?) can be satiated with this product. You can pick one up here for the “sand in your face” price of $249.00.

(As long as you don’t pay any attention to the environmental impact of having that cell phone or PDA in the first place, starting with its manufacture, built-in obsolescence, and finally disposal of the parts, especially those batteries.)
