Treehugger (in partnership with Daylife) has come up with a great little flash application that takes a look at the current state of green in the world. How does it work? Similar to a stock market (but without the stocks) it takes a look at keywords being used in the media and then compares them from week to week. From their site,
“It’s a way to gauge how much mindshare certain concepts have and see if they are gaining or losing ground compared to last week. Not very scientific, but lots of fun! New keywords can be added to it and if you click on an entry, you can see more details and read recent new stories on that particular topic.”
So cool! They even have a badge that you can add to your site with a small GRNDX number on the state of the green media. Hit the site here for more information! Check out the numbers on Peak Oil!
